Longtime Association & volunteer member, REALTOR® Brian Hatkoff and his family are facing a new challenge, one that was certainly unexpected and unwelcomed. Cheryl Hatko , is a wife, mother, daughter, daughter-in-law and nurse and amazing friend and philanthropist. She has spent her life doing and giving to others. As a fertility
specialist she has become a cherished friend as she helps many couples who struggle to become families
successfully bring wonderful children into the world.
At the end of December, after experiencing what she thought perhaps were heart problems or a bug, Cheryl was diagnosed with Leukemia. Speci cally, AML-Acute Myelord Leukemia. She is currently under treatment at Tarzana Hospital and receiving great care. She is positive and incredibly strong and she views this as a bump in the road, one that can be overcome, but she may need help. It is almost certain that this ght will require her to have
a bone marrow transplant. By having a Testing drive at our location we have the opportunity to help Cheryl regain her health but also the possibility of helping so many others in need of Bone Marrow Transplants too.
We encourage you to join the registry: you could be a possible match for Cheryl! It is a simple cheek swab
procedure and you could save a LIFE! Please pass this to anyone who might want to participate.
